Every Filipino grew up with Leche Flan. It’s one of the sweetest Filipino Recipes that melt on your tongue when eating it. The name originates from the spanish word flan de leche. This Filipino Recipe can be made in different ways like baked, over a flame or stove. Leche Flan is often served at parties and other celebrations like Fiesta.
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 12 egg yolks
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • Brown Sugar for a syrup
  1. Mix the 12 egg yolks the condensed milk and the evaporated milk and all together.
  2. Put the mixture in a wok
  3. Let it steam for about 40 minutes or longer (until the mixture becomes firm)
  4. Cool leche flan and place it on a plate. (inverted)
  5. Prepare the Leche flan syrup In a seperate heavy pot the brown sugar needs to be melted next til it's golden brown.
  6. Add some hot water to dissolve the carmelized sugar until a syrup is formed
  7. Put the syrup over the mixture.
  8. It is now ready to be served.
